Foresite’s continued success in the Education and Public Sector

Foresite are proud to announce that we have been awarded works to the Windsor Hub at the University of Reading by Morgan Ashurst Plc.

We are very happy to be working alongside Morgan Ashurst on this prestigious contract and thank them for their continued support in these interesting times.

The contract consists of two completely new buildings, the Social Utility Building housing flexible areas for TV, multi-media and games together with a new laundry space, JCR committee room and the Catering Building which will provide food serveries, a bar and a dining area. Another part of this contract is the refurbishment of the existing Windsor Hall Ground Floor Administration Building including a whole new entrance area.

Foresite’s design element of the project has already commenced, working closely with the Bristol based Architects Stride Treglown. Work on site is anticipated to start towards the end of September and continue into April 2010, providing the perfect spring board for Foresite into the New Year and beyond.

The contract has an approximate value of £335K and has a very high end specification consisting in brief of the following –

Schuco’s - FW50+HI Curtain Walling System
AWS 75.SI Windows System
ADS 65.HD Doors System
Along with Brise Soleil, Roof Lights, Internal Glazed Screens, Automatic Entrance Doors, Electronic Actuated Windows and fixed Aluminium Louvre’s this will undoubtedly be a project Foresite will be delighted to showcase in its portfolio of successes.
