Foresite shake fist at the recession with bold long term appointment at the highest level

After just over 11 years as Managing Director of Foresite Limited the owner David Robinson has stepped aside to let new blood oversee the next stage of the Company’s growth and development. Steve Elliman, an extremely well known and experienced individual, has taken over as Managing Director from 1st February 2010 to take up the day to day control of the business. David remains fully committed to future success and will be working with the Company in the role of part time Chairman overseeing and driving the long term strategies for growth and diversification whilst monitoring the delivery of the core Company Aims.

Steve will bring a whole new emphasis and enthusiasm to the business along with a wealth of ideas and experience to build on what has already been achieved at Foresite. After many years steering Deane and Amos Aluminium this new opportunity - for both Steve and Foresite - is as exciting as it is challenging. Given the current economic climate and uncertain future it would be easy to retreat into unsustainable safe decision making however at Foresite we are confident in our ability and flexibility to provide a product and service that will be required whatever the prevailing circumstances. Steve will add to this enormously as we continue to evolve as a company and individuals.

In his own words Steve views his move to Foresite as follows;
“My appointment as MD at Foresite is a great opportunity for me to further the growth of an already successful company, with 23 years experience within the industry I feel that I can bring a lot of new ideas and experience to the table. Foresite already offer a comprehensive and professional service to their Clients and it is my aim to continually improve this by being the best in a very demanding market place.

My immediate aims are to develop the working relationships with existing Clients and also bring on board new customers who are of a like mind.  To help achieve the above our targets over the next 4 months are to achieve Constructionline and CHAS accreditation. By the end of this year we will have added to this ISO 9001 and IIP accreditation. This is going to mean a lot of hard work and team effort but will be a tangible measure of the Company’s continued progression and development as a company of choice for all stakeholders.
